CAREERS AT MEDIC

Application Requirements

Paramedic

  • Paramedic Certification/License: All Paramedics must possess a current and valid State of California Paramedic license
  • DMV printout (Within 2 Weeks)
  • ACLS certification in current valid status
  • ITLS/BTLS/or PHTLS certification in current valid status
  • PALS/or PEPP certification in current valid status
  • Valid California Driver License
  • Valid Ambulance Driver License
  • Valid Medical Examiners Card
  • TB (Within 1 Year)

 Emergency Medical Technician - Basic

  • DMV printout (Within 2 Weeks)
  • EMT County Card:  Sacramento Division Any EMS County card within CA/Solano Division Requires a Solano County EMS card (Please Contact Solano County EMS at (707)784-8155 for Solano County Accreditation)
  • CPR
  • Valid CDL
  • Valid ADL
  • Valid Medical Examiners Card
  • TB (within 1 year)

Support Services Technician 

  • DMV printout (Within 2 Weeks)
  • Valid California Driver License
  • TB (within 1 year)

* For EMT, Paramedic & SST positions, additional information can be submitted such as Proof of Hepatitis B Inoculation(s) or Titre.

Dispatcher

  • Valid California Driver License

 Medic Ambulance Service has a 21 years of Age Requirement for all Driving Positions
