BILLING AND COLLECTION POLICY

Medic Ambulance billing department employs skilled and knowledgeable billing specialists and accounts receivable representatives. We pride ourselves on being up-to-date with all billing guidelines from Medicare, Medi-Cal, Tri-Care and private insurance companies.

Medic’s account representatives make themselves available to assist patients with questions and concerns regarding their insurance coverage, our provided levels of service and our billing processes. 

If medically necessary, most insurance companies cover ambulance transportation. We bill Medicare, Medi-Cal, Tri-Care or your private insurance company as a courtesy. We do accept assignment. By so doing, we are able to deal with your insurance directly. For those patients who don’t have insurance, we offer generously affordable payment plans. For example, in some cases we offer monthly payments with no interest, credit card payments, and discounts. We accept Visa and MasterCard (over the phone) for payment of all balances.
